Connecting With The Arise Community

There are several ways we try and connect with our Arise students and parents throughout the year.

  • Customer Appreciation Week: The week before Thanksgiving, we will be giving away free treats in the waiting room, putting up a “Thanksgiving tree” where parents and students can write what they are thankful for, and letting all our current students try any class for free, or bring friends with them to try their classes. We want to use this week to meet parents, show them how grateful we are, and bless our Arise dance families. Have fun with it!

  • Parent Appreciation Week: The week before Christmas Break we invite parents to sit in on all the classes. Use this time to let them get to know you and see how amazing your class is and what their kids have been learning. Be welcoming, and have fun with the class. Look for extra ways to show the parents that we appreciate them entrusting their kids to us.

  • Spirit Week: We take a week in January and have different themes every day for the students to get dressed up. Theme your class music to the theme of the day and have fun both lifting people’s spirits and showing school spirit. Examples of themes: broadway day, fairy tail day, dress like your teacher day, etc.

  • Open House Week: The week before March Break we invite parents to sit in on all the classes. Use this time to let them get to know you and see how amazing your class is and what their kids have been learning. Be welcoming, and have fun with the class.
